So what should we do?

I've recently started working for an undisclosed hot beverage serving place. I'm sure you can all guess where it is. I did notice something the other day on opening shift though. Most of the customers who come in between 5:30 and 9:00am are men. Women tend to go through the drive thru first thing. So what could this mean? Do men just like to take their time with their coffee and women would rather have the convenience? Is it because most women have their kids in the car or have just come from dropping kids off? I'm not too sure really what the answer is but I know this is an untapped marketing opportunity. What do you think?

Marketeer?? What's that?

During my time in the McAfee School of Business, student teams created names for the LINKS Marketing simulation Although I cannot remember our team name, I do remember the Marketeers. So, with that in mind, I am the Fuquay-Varina Marketeer searching (endlessly) for a job! Hopefully, my quest will end and the real journey will begin.

Some brief observations about my new town and it's local businesses will be mentioned as needed for white papers and conclusions. So far, this town is growing and thriving, probably because of positive ads seen in local magazines and lower cost of living. One marketing anomaly in this place is a local church. They have only a website, facebook page, and a sign that is only out a few hours a week, however, they have continued to have steady growth for the past three years. The church will show up again in this blog. Until then...
